Role Description This is a full-time hybrid role for a Java Software Engineer based in Bengaluru, with flexibility for partial work from home.

The Java Software

Engineer will design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable, and high-performance applications using Java and the Spring Framework. Daily responsibilities include implementing microservices, writing clean and efficient code, integrating APIs and services, and collaborating with cross-functional teams such as product, QA, and DevOps. The role involves participating in design and code reviews,



troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, optimizing application performance, and contributing to best practices and technical documentation. The engineer will work closely with stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions aligned with Appzlogic’s standards for security, reliability, and quality.

Qualifications

- Strong programming skills in Java and experience applying core object-oriented principles in production environments.
- Hands-on experience with the Spring Framework (e.g., Spring Boot, Spring Data, Spring Security) for building enterprise-grade applications.
- Proficiency in software development concepts, including design patterns, testing, debugging, and version control (e.g., Git).
- Practical experience designing and implementing microservices architectures, including RESTful APIs and service integration.
- Familiarity with relational and/or NoSQL databases, SQL, and performance optimization techniques.
- Understanding of cloud platforms (such as AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is beneficial.
- Knowledge of secure coding practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing frameworks is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, collaborate with diverse teams, and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
