About the RoleAs Human Resources Associate, you'll be an early leadership hire at RISE, responsible for building and managing the company's people function from the ground up. You'll own hiring, onboarding, performance management, HR operations, and employee experience across a fast-growing, global team. This is a highly hands-on role for someone who enjoys building scalable people systems while working closely with the founding team.

Responsibilities

- Own end-to-end hiring across teams including mentors, academic staff, operations, and leadership
- Build structured hiring pipelines, interview processes, and onboarding systems
- Manage performance reviews, feedback cycles, promotions, and employee exits
- Manage HR operations including contracts, payroll coordination, leave policies, compliance, and employee documentation
- Support HR processes for both India-based and international hires
- Build and maintain a strong, high-performance company culture
- Handle employee grievances, conflict resolution, and sensitive people matters with professionalism and discretion




- Develop scalable HR systems and processes as RISE grows

You're a Fit If You Have
- 0–2 years of experience in Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, or People Operations, ideally in a startup or fast-growing environment
- Strong organizational and process-management skills, with the ability to manage hiring pipelines, employee records, and HR systems accurately
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High emotional intelligence and sound judgment when handling confidential or sensitive employee matters
- Ability to work independently and take ownership in a rapid-paced environment
- Entrepreneurial mindset and comfort building systems and processes from scratch
- Willingness to work in-person from Bangalore
