Nature of The Job
- To lead, manage, and develop the Admissions & Assessment function within the Hub, ensuring operational excellence in application processing and suitability assessments, while driving team performance, continuous improvement, and full regulatory alignment across GGGS brand.
Job Purpose
- The purpose of the job is to support the Manager in overseeing team operations and ensuring effective performance of frontline staff. Key responsibilities include assigning and monitoring tasks, conducting performance evaluations, providing feedback and training, and participating in decision-making regarding staffing and workflows.
- Timely and accurate processing of learner applications in line with agreed SLAs.
- High-quality, compliant admissions decisions supported by robust document verification and assessment standards.
- Consistent and fair suitability assessments across all GGGS brands within the Hub
- Accurate system documentation and full adherence to admissions policies and regulatory requirements.
- The role also involves ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards, enhancing professional skills, and contributing to the organization's success by promoting collaboration, communicating effectively with the Manager, and continually striving for team improvement and optimal performance.

TEAM MANAGEMENT
- Assigning and monitoring specific tasks as directed by the Manager
- Holding regular planning and reporting meetings.
- Auditing and evaluating the performance of frontline staff.
- Providing feedback to employees.
- Conducting induction, training, serving as the initial step in the grievance procedure.
- Tracking process metrics including productivity, quality, and turnaround time.
- Contributing to statistical reports prepared by the Manager.
- Coordinating the Admission Officers' work to ensure consistent performance.
- DECISION ADVISORY
- Appointing new team members (with the Manager having final decision-making authority or veto power).
- Assist the Manager in making critical decisions by providing recommendations on
- Assigning specific tasks
- Conducting appraisals (with the Manager having final rating authority and potentially interviewing outliers to ensure consistency and reliability).
- Initiating transfers (with the Manager making transfer decisions).

- Ensures adherence to relevant regulations and accreditation standards: by keeping abreast of institutional policies, admission criteria, and industry-leading practices.

SUPERVISORY/MANAGERIAL SKILLS

•Lead and manage the end-to-end admissions process within the Hub, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and regulatory compliance across all applications.
• Allocate workload across the team and monitor SLA adherence to maintain consistent processing standards.
• Oversee application review and document verification processes, ensuring robust compliance checks and data integrity within admissions systems (CRM/LMS).
• Approve conditional and confirmed enrolment offers in line with established admissions criteria and regulatory requirements.
• Act as the primary escalation point for complex or high-risk learner cases, ensuring appropriate resolution and stakeholder alignment.
• Conduct regular quality reviews to ensure consistency, accuracy, and full adherence to admissions policies and internal guidelines. • Lead and standardize structured suitability assessments within the Hub, ensuring fairness, consistency, and regulatory alignment.
• Conduct and oversee suitability interviews to evaluate student motivation, program fit, academic readiness, and language proficiency.
• Review and approve assessment outcomes completed by team members, ensuring quality and defensible decision-making.
• Ensure accurate documentation of assessment results within admissions systems, maintaining audit readiness.
• Manage assessment workflows and scheduling to ensure timely completion in line with agreed SLAs.
RELEVANT EXPERIENCE
• 6.5 -9 years’ experience in EdTech admissions, learner onboarding, or academic operations.
• Experience conducting structured assessments or eligibility evaluations required.
• Prior experience mentoring or leading a small team desirable.
• Strong understanding of digital admissions workflows and regulatory frameworks.

WORKPLACE ENVIRONMENT
- Work is primarily conducted in an office environment, involving significant computer usage. Some evenings, weekends, and shift work may be part of the schedule.
