Role Description The Designer Sales Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai, responsible for combining interior design expertise with consultative sales. On a day-to-day basis, this role involves meeting clients in the showroom or at project sites, understanding their requirements, and proposing modular kitchen, wardrobe, and related interior solutions aligned with their budget and style preferences. The Specialist will create basic design concepts for kitchens and other units, coordinate with the factory and project teams on measurements, layouts, and material choices, and prepare quotations and sales proposals.

The role includes managing the customer journey from initial inquiry through final installation, handling follow-ups, addressing concerns,



and ensuring a high-quality customer service experience. The Specialist will also support promotional activities, maintain product knowledge, and provide design input to enhance the overall interior offerings.

Qualifications

- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to engage clients, understand needs, and provide clear, professional guidance.
- Proficiency in Interior Design and Kitchen & Bath Design to create practical, aesthetic layouts for modular kitchens and related furniture.
- Demonstrated Sales skills, including consultative selling, negotiation, and closing, preferably in interiors, furniture, or home improvement.
- Ability to read measurements, basic technical drawings, and work closely with factory and project teams for smooth execution.
- Relevant education or training in interior design, architecture, or a related field is preferred; equivalent experience in modular interiors is valued.
- Working knowledge of design or layout tools and MS Office for presentations, quotations, and client communication.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple client projects simultaneously.
- Comfort working in office in Chennai, including occasional client visits and coordination at project locations.
