About the RoleCodeForge Academy is looking for Development Volunteers to join our growing volunteer team.

As a Development Volunteer, you will contribute to the development and improvement of software projects, educational technology, internal tools, learning platforms, and other technical initiatives associated with CodeForge Academy.

You may work on new features, bug fixes, documentation, testing, technical improvements, example projects, and other development tasks.

You will collaborate remotely with other volunteers and team members to understand requirements, propose technical solutions, review implementations, and maintain good software-development practices.

Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain software features and applications
- Contribute to frontend and/or backend development
- Fix bugs and troubleshoot technical issues




- Participate in code reviews and technical discussions
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
- Work with Git and version-control workflows
- Assist with testing and quality improvements
- Build example projects and technical demonstrations
- Contribute to educational technology initiatives
- Document technical implementations and development processes
- Collaborate with other volunteers on assigned projects
- Learn and work with technologies relevant to ongoing projects
