Required

- Experience building Genie spaces for business users who prompt via natural language
- Experience translating business needs to Databricks semantic models (built on top of L2 / Gold data) - data engineering
- Experience with Power BI and Fabric: dashboard design/development and semantic models supporting the dashboard

- Experience with Databricks Supervisor Agents
- Experience with Copilot configuration (integrated in Power BI dashboards)

Role: Databricks Genie & Power BI Copilot Technical Lead

Role Summary Technical lead responsible for designing, configuring, and scaling Genie spaces and Power BI Copilot solutions for one or more business domains.

Key Responsibilities

- Configure and manage Genie spaces end to end, including semantic models and text to SQL workflows
- Design and optimize Power BI semantic models to enable Copilot and AI driven insights




- Translate business requirements into scalable data models, SQL logic, and analytics solutions
- Build and support Power BI dashboards (DAX, data prep, visualizations) ready for AI integration
- Partner with business and domain teams to drive adoption and solution quality

Required Skills

- Advanced SQL and solid semantic modeling / data design experience
- Hands on Power BI development (DAX, datasets, dashboards)
- Ability to bridge business questions to technical implementation
- Domain experience (e.g., Sales, Supply Chain) a plus but not a must-have do not filter candidates out if they meet the above but do not have this experience in Sales/Supply chain
