Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced and technically strong Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead the technology strategy and engineering function for our crypto and financial technology business.

The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Web2, backend/full-stack product development, banking and financial technology, with a basic understanding of Web3, blockchain and cryptocurrency technologies.

Key Responsibilities

Define and drive the overall technology strategy, architecture and product roadmap.

Lead the development and scaling of digital wallet, money transfer, cryptocurrency transaction and financial products.

Design secure, scalable and highly available backend and transaction-processing systems.

Ensure strong standards around security, data protection, reliability and financial transaction integrity.

Drive integrations with banks, payment networks, financial institutions and third-party fintech providers.

Lead and mentor engineering, architecture, DevOps, QA team members

Build scalable cloud infrastructure and establish strong engineering and DevOps practices.

Work closely with the CEO, Product, Business, Compliance and Operations teams to translate business requirements into technology solutions.

Manage technology budgets, vendors, technical risks and overall technology delivery.

Required Experience & Skills

15+ years of technology/engineering experience, with significant leadership experience.

Strong Backend and/or Full-Stack engineering background.

Extensive experience building and scaling Web2,



fintech, banking, payments or financial platforms.

Robust understanding of banking systems, payment processing, money movement and financial transactions.

Experience with APIs, distributed systems, databases, cloud infrastructure and scalable architectures.

Strong understanding of cybersecurity and financial-data security.

Basic/practical knowledge of Web3, blockchain, cryptocurrency and digital wallets is sufficient

Proven ability to lead high-performing technology teams.

Strong business acumen with the ability to translate business strategy into technology execution.
