Role Description The Branch Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Bhavnagar, responsible for leading overall branch operations and business growth. This role involves managing daily banking activities, supervising branch staff, ensuring adherence to regulatory and internal compliance standards, and maintaining high levels of service quality.

The Branch

Manager will drive customer acquisition and retention, oversee sales of banking products, monitor key performance metrics, and implement strategies to achieve branch targets. The role also includes handling escalated customer issues, maintaining strong local market relationships, and ensuring efficient cash, risk, and audit management within the branch.

- Candidates should possess customer relationship management, negotiation, and problem-solving skills to address diverse customer needs and resolve issues promptly.
- Candidates should possess business development, sales planning, and target achievement skills to grow branch portfolios and drive revenue in the local market.
- Candidates should possess analytical, reporting, and decision-making skills to monitor branch performance, manage risk, and support strategic initiatives.
- Relevant bachelor’s degree in finance, commerce, business administration, or a related field; an advanced degree or professional certification in banking or financial services is an advantage.
- Prior experience in branch management or supervisory roles in banking or financial services, preferably within retail or small finance segments.
- Proficiency in basic banking software, MS Office tools, and comfort with digital banking platforms; local language proficiency and robust communication skills are highly beneficial.
