Key Responsibilities
- Serve as HSSE Personnel and therefore be responsible for the implementation & maintenance of Group HSE management system (complying ISO 14001 & ISO 45001) / local SOPs / Control Procedures at their respective areas / locations
- Facilitate and guide the Local Managements for implementing HSSE management system at their respective areas.
- Be responsible to report all HSSE related information to CIF HSSE SOA and act as per the guidance given by CIF HSSE SOA.
- Be responsible to monitor the HSSE system implementation in terms of HSE inspection or internal audit at their respective areas / locations.
- Organize and manage different HSSE programs as directed by CIF HSSE SOA
- Ensuring safe workplace and identify risk and implement necessary control measures to eliminate them so that people and environment are safe
- Communicating/consulting and involving participation from all staff of the location to identify and control of hazards/ significant environmental impact , legal and other requirement and necessary local HSSE objectives KPIs and targets.
- Follow-up and report HSSE KPI’s to local / area management.
- Facilitate / Guide Region to collect environmental data and report it to the system within timeline.
- Organise monthly Safety Meeting for the region to demonstrate and review the HSSE implementation process to regional management.
- Responsible for review and update the legal and other requirement applicable to the region and communicate it to the all concern.
- Responsible for review of Emergency management response,
conduct mock drill and update the procedure accordingly
Criteria for Performance Evaluation (KPIs)
- HSSE KPIs – safety performance at sites, other defined deliverables
- Quality and effectiveness of HSSE activities (completeness, correctness, timing, documentation, etc.)
Skilled Qualification
- Engineers (B.E. / B. Tech./ BSc or Diploma) from Mechanical/ Production/ Industrial Engineering / Civil / Electrical / Chemical / Fire Safety Engineering
- Diploma in Industrial Safety from state technical board recognized institute having scored an average/aggregate of 55% and above marks in DIS / Engineering and also in SSC and HSC or equivalent (e.g. NEBOSH IGC) of it
Experience
- Minimum 7 to 10 years of experience in Industrial Safety, HSSE Management, EHS Compliance, or related functions.
- Experience in conducting audits, risk assessments, training programs, and incident investigations.
- Exposure to multi-site operations and management systems will be preferred.
Technical Competencies
- HSSE Management Systems implementation and compliance (ISO 14001 & ISO 45001), including legal and regulatory requirements.
- Risk Assessment, Hazard Identification, Incident Investigation, and Root Cause Analysis.
- Emergency Response Planning, Mock Drill Management, and Crisis Preparedness.
- Health, Safety & Environmental Audits, Inspections, Compliance Monitoring, and Corrective Action Management.
- HSSE KPI Monitoring, Reporting, Data Analysis, and proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
