REQUIREMENT FOR APPLICATION SUPPORT / MIDDLEWARE ADMINISTRATOR

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the complete production lifecycle of business applications, including installation, configuration, deployment, upgrades, monitoring, vulnerability management, and decommissioning.
- Provide L2 Application Support for critical business applications.
- Monitor applications and troubleshoot production issues related to APIs, middleware, message queues, databases, and application integrations.
- Perform application installation, configuration, deployment, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Provide hands-on administration and support for OpenShift/Kubernetes environments.
- Support and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, Jenkins, and JFrog Artifactory.
- Administer and troubleshoot middleware technologies including WebSphere, WebLogic, Tomcat, JBoss, IBM MQ, and Informatica PowerCenter.
- Support databases including Oracle and MS SQL Server.
- Administer and troubleshoot applications across Linux, AIX, and Windows operating systems.
- Monitor application health, availability, performance, and capacity.
- Troubleshoot application, middleware, API, messaging, and integration failures.
- Participate in application deployments, upgrades, patching, vulnerability remediation, and environment maintenance.
- Collaborate with Development, DevOps, Infrastructure, Database, Network, and Security teams to resolve production issues.
- Participate in Incident, Problem,



and Change Management processes.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement permanent corrective actions.
- Identify opportunities for automation and continuous improvement of operational processes.
- Ensure application stability, performance, availability, and operational reliability.
- Maintain technical documentation, support procedures, deployment procedures, and troubleshooting guides.

Who Can Apply?

- Candidates with 3+ years of relevant experience, preferably 5–8 years.
- Strong experience in Application Support and Production Operations.
- Hands-on experience with OpenShift/Kubernetes in enterprise environments.
- Experience supporting CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, Jenkins, and JFrog Artifactory.
- Hands-on middleware administration experience with WebSphere, WebLogic, Tomcat, JBoss, IBM MQ, and Informatica PowerCenter.
- Experience with Oracle, MS SQL Server, Linux/AIX, and Windows.
- Robust production troubleshooting and incident management skills.
- Experience supporting APIs, message queues, middleware, and application integrations.
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams in critical production environments.

Good to Have

- Python scripting.
- PowerShell.
- Bash / KSH scripting.
- Docker and containerization technologies.
- Monitoring and observability tools such as Grafana, Kibana, Splunk, Prometheus, and Elasticsearch.
- Networking fundamentals.
- Knowledge of ITIL processes, including Incident, Problem, and Change Management.
- Experience automating application administration and operational activities.

- Experience in L2 support, incident management, RCA, and production troubleshooting.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain application stability and improve operational processes.
