Job Summary

n

We are looking for an experienced Oracle HCM Cloud Technical Consultant with strong expertise in Fast Formula, Oracle HCM integrations, SQL/PLSQL, and HCM technical solutions.

n

The candidate will be responsible for developing, customizing, and supporting Oracle HCM Cloud solutions, with a primary focus on Fast Formula development and complex HR business rules. The role will involve working closely with functional teams and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

n

Oracle HCM Technical

n

n
- Design, develop, and support technical solutions in Oracle HCM Cloud.
n
- Work across Oracle HCM modules including Core HR, Absence, Payroll, Compensation, Benefits, Recruiting, Talent, and related modules.
n
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
n
- Develop technical specifications, solution designs, and integration documents.
n
- Troubleshoot technical issues and provide production support.
n

n

Fast Formula Development

n

n
- Develop, customize, and maintain Oracle HCM Fast Formulas based on business requirements.
n
- Create complex Fast Formulas for:
n
- Payroll calculations
n
- Absence and leave eligibility
n
- Compensation
n
- Benefits
n
- Validation and defaulting rules
n
- Eligibility profiles
n
- Assignment and employee-related business rules
n
- Debug and troubleshoot Fast Formula errors and calculation issues.
n
- Optimize existing formulas for performance and maintainability.
n




- Work with functional consultants to understand requirements and translate them into appropriate Fast Formula logic.
n
- Perform unit testing and support SIT/UAT for Fast Formula changes.
n

n

Oracle HCM Integrations

n

n
- Develop and support integrations between Oracle HCM Cloud and third-party systems.
n
- Work with REST/SOAP APIs, HCM Extracts, HDL, and file-based integrations.
n
- Develop and maintain inbound and outbound interfaces.
n
- Support data mapping, transformation, validation, and error handling.
n
- Troubleshoot integration failures and data discrepancies.
n

SQL & Data

n

n
- Develop complex SQL/PLSQL queries for data extraction, validation, troubleshooting, and analysis.
n
- Analyze Oracle HCM data structures and identify root causes of data-related issues.
n
- Perform data validation and reconciliation across HCM modules and integrated systems.
n

n

Reporting & Technical Development

n

n
- Develop and support BI Publisher (BIP) reports and templates.
n
- Work with OTBI for reporting and data analysis.
n
- Support HCM Extracts and other Oracle reporting solutions.
n
- Ensure technical solutions meet performance, security, and data-quality requirements.
n

n

Testing & Production Support

n

n
- Participate in SIT, UAT, regression testing, and production deployment.
n
- Prepare test scenarios and test data for Fast Formula and technical changes.
n
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide root-cause analysis.
n




- Support defect resolution and post-production stabilization.
n

n

Mandatory Skills

n

n
- 6+ years of experience in Oracle HCM Cloud Technical development.
n
- Strong hands-on experience in Oracle HCM Fast Formula.
n
- Experience developing complex Fast Formulas across multiple HCM modules.
n
- Strong knowledge of Oracle HCM Cloud.
n
- Strong SQL/PLSQL skills.
n
- Hands-on experience with HCM Extracts, HDL, REST/SOAP APIs, and integrations.
n
- Good understanding of Oracle HCM data structures and HR business processes.
n
- Experience in troubleshooting and production support.
n

Ideal Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate should have a strong combination of:

n

Fast Formula development experience is mandatory. Candidates with only generic Oracle HCM technical experience and no hands-on Fast Formula development experience would not be preferred.
