Location: Remote (Chennai)

Role & Key Responsibilities:
Generate recent logistics business across FTL/PTL segments in Chennai and nearby markets.
Identify, prospect, acquire and onboard recent clients within the 3PL, manufacturing, retail and FMCG sectors .
Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation, cold calling, networking and RFP participation to client onboarding and first-load execution.
Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline and secure regular/daily load volumes from customers.
Develop and maintain a strong transporter/broker network for sourcing market vehicles and ensuring capacity availability.
Arrange trucks from the open market and manage vehicle hiring, placement, dispatch and shipment execution .
Coordinate with customers, transporters, drivers and internal teams to ensure timely vehicle placement and delivery .
Analyze lane-wise demand, spot vs. contract freight rates, market trends and seasonal capacity fluctuations to develop competitive pricing.
Negotiate freight rates with customers and transporters while maintaining healthy margins .




Manage transporter/vendor relationships and ensure service quality, vehicle availability and operational reliability.
Resolve operational issues such as vehicle breakdowns, no-shows, delays and delivery exceptions .
Drive customer retention, repeat business and revenue growth through strong relationship management and service delivery.

Mandatory Requirements:
6+ years of relevant experience in 3PL, FTL and Business Development/Sales .
Proven track record in new client acquisition, revenue generation and achieving sales targets .
Strong understanding of the FTL/3PL market , freight pricing, lane analysis and market dynamics.
Solid transporter/broker network in Chennai and nearby regions .
Hands-on experience in market vehicle hiring, truck placement and carrier/vendor management .
Experience handling clients from Manufacturing, FMCG, Retail or other organised sectors will
