About The Job

As a CA-7 Administrator / Scheduler Administrator, you will be responsible for administering and managing CA-7 scheduling environments, including creating and modifying calendars, handling complex scheduling requirements, and managing business-day and holiday schedules. You will work closely with application and production teams to ensure accurate and effective batch scheduling.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in CA-7 administration, CA-7 calendar management, complex scheduling, and batch scheduling, along with a good understanding of JCL and Mainframe environments.

Responsibilities

Administer and manage CA-7 scheduling environments and ensure smooth execution of batch schedules.
Create, modify, and maintain CA-7 calendars based on business and application requirements.
Add and manage company holidays and define working/non-working days within CA-7 calendars.
Handle holiday schedules and business-day scheduling requirements.
Perform complex scheduling changes and ensure dependencies are configured accurately.
Analyze and adjust daily, weekly, and monthly job streams based on application requirements.
Monitor scheduled jobs and ensure they execute in the correct sequence and within
