Role summary
Seeking a contract Oracle Enterprise Profitability and Cost Management (EPCM) Technical Specialist / EPCM Engineer to lead the technical delivery and operational support of Accounting EPCM and related legal-entity allocation capabilities.
This role will translate Accounting, Controllership, Tax, Transfer Pricing, FP&A;, and Finance Systems requirements into scalable, auditable Oracle EPCM solutions. The specialist will own or co-own the full lifecycle—from requirements clarification and allocation-model design through configuration, technical implementation, testing, reconciliation, approvals, production deployment, and post-release support.
The role is expected to contribute transformational work, allocation processes and improves alignment among Accounting actuals, forecasts, segment reporting, legal-entity reporting, and downstream planning.



The successful candidate will be equally comfortable discussing allocation methodology with Finance leaders and building, troubleshooting, automating, and supporting the underlying Oracle EPM solution.
What you will do
Functional and allocation leadership
Lead discovery and impact analysis for current and changing segment, management, transfer-pricing, accounting, and legal-entity allocations.
Translate allocation intent into clear source-pool, driver/basis, target, offset, rule-sequencing, and balancing requirements.
Design and support accounting allocations across EPCM, forecast and planning models, ERP/GL integrations, and downstream reporting platforms.
Determine whether an allocation should run for actuals, forecast, or both; distinguish GL actuals from planning-only actuals; and identify impacts to segment, SEC reporting, transfer pricing, tax, intercompany, and legal-entity forecasting.
