We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Associate Director, Software Engineering Specialist
In this role, you will:

Define end-to-end solution architecture for Payment Post Processing, with a explicit view of target state and evolutionary delivery.
Create high-quality architecture documentation including options, trade-offs, and recommendations that stand up to scrutiny.




Design cloud-native solutions on GCP and On-Prem to handle high-volume payment data and events.
Partner with engineering teams to ensure designs are practical, secure, resilient and operable.
Shape integration patterns across payment systems and downstream consumers, using APIs and event-driven approaches where appropriate.
Influence architecture direction through collaboration with other architects and technology leaders.
Embed non-functional requirements (performance, availability, observability, security, compliance) into solution designs.
Promote re-use, standards and good practice across teams to accelerate delivery and reduce risk.

To be successful, you will:

Proven experience as a Solution Architect on large-scale, complex technology programmes (payments experience strongly preferred).
Deep expertise in Google Cloud Platform, including BigQuery, Spanner, Pub/Sub, Dataflow (and related services).
