This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Credit Controller based in India.
This role is focused on strengthening cash flow, collections and working capital performance across critical order-to-cash activities. You will manage customer receivables, credit-related order releases, reconciliations and payment follow-ups to support timely cash realization. The position combines customer engagement, financial analysis and cross-functional coordination across sales, operations, treasury and finance teams. You will also manage intercompany receivables and support foreign exchange and regulatory compliance activities. By proactively identifying risks and resolving payment barriers, you will help reduce overdue balances and protect the organisation’s financial performance. Accountabilities




Review and validate customer purchase orders and contract requirements to facilitate the timely release of sales orders and deliveries placed on credit hold.
Ensure prompt release of orders subject to advance payment and retention terms.
Coordinate with sales, operations and planning teams to prevent credit-related delays affecting Material Requirements Planning (MRP), On-Time Delivery (OTD) and contractual commitments.
Escalate risks that could result in delivery delays, customer dissatisfaction or liquidated damages.
Monitor outstanding intercompany receivables and proactively follow up with overseas entities to secure timely payments.
Support compliance with the Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA) and other applicable foreign exchange requirements.
Coordinate with treasury and finance teams to address delayed settlements, hedge contract restructuring and foreign exchange exposure.
