Own end-to-end financial control for the manufacturing plant, with a strong focus on inventory, plant cost management, operational efficiency, CAPEX/OPEX governance, MIS and financial compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Own financial control and governance for the manufacturing plant.
n
Monitor plant costs, cost structures and overall manufacturing efficiencies.
n
Drive inventory controls and ensure accuracy of inventory records.
n
Track and analyse plant performance, costs and operational variances.
n
Manage plant MIS and P&L; reporting for corporate finance.
n
Evaluate CAPEX and OPEX proposals, with a robust focus on ROI and financial impact.
n
Monitor CAPEX utilisation, budgets and project-wise financial performance.
n
Ensure adherence to financial policies, controls and statutory compliances at the plant.
n
Coordinate with central finance teams for AP, AR, GST, taxation and other centralised finance activities.
n
Drive costing, bill processing and other plant-level finance operations.
n
Support process improvement,
automation and digitisation of finance workflows.
n
Participate in ERP/SAP-led process improvements and workflow automation initiatives.
n
Identify opportunities for cost optimisation, process efficiency and stronger financial controls.

Candidate Profile
n
n
n
7–12 years of experience in manufacturing finance / plant finance.
n
CMA/ICWA preferred; CA is not mandatory.
n
Strong experience in a manufacturing/factory environment is essential.
n
Hands-on experience in plant costing, inventory, CAPEX, OPEX and financial controls.
n
Solid understanding of manufacturing cost structures and operational metrics.
n
Experience with SAP/ERP systems and finance process automation.
n
Candidates with a combination of plant and corporate finance experience would be preferred.
n
Solid analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
n
Ability to work closely with plant operations while maintaining financial independence and control.
