Additional Responsibilities
Knowledge of freight bidding and transport quotation processes.
Identify and secure return loads to minimize empty vehicle movement.
Negotiate freight rates with transporters, brokers, and customers.
Monitor load boards and freight exchanges to find suitable return loads.
Optimize vehicle utilization and reduce transportation costs.
Coordinate with customers and transport partners to ensure timely load allocation.
Analyze market freight rates and prepare competitive bids.
Maintain solid relationships with transport vendors and logistics partners.
