Role Summary:

A creative mindset for storytelling through aesthetic imagery and copywriting to inspire, inform and educate internal and external stakeholders.
/n
In a critical role in the Communications department, the candidate would be required to work closely with the Vice-Chancellor and other stakeholders to develop designs for print (brochures, reports, posters) and digital (emailers, banners, infographics, illustrations), as well as internal branding solutions.

Responsibilities:

/n

/n
Develop print/digital graphics in accordance with the University’s requirements and brief.
/n
Work on various media and contribute to design needs for website, reports, signage, marketing, etc.
/n
Develop Ahmedabad University brand identity for internal & external stakeholders
/n




Unify and evaluate communication material from various schools and centres under Ahmedabad University
/n
Archiving of photographs and other design materials
/n

/n

Take decisions on all print production, materials and finishes in liaison with University staff and vendors

/n

/n

Key Skills:

/n

/n
Valuable photography and photo editing. Motion graphics and video editing skills
/n
Flexibility to work in alliance with various departments of the University on multiple projects and constructively incorporate their inputs
/n
Excellent grammar and communication skills to work closely with the University content writer
/n
Extensive knowledge of print production and the ability to deal with various vendors
/n
Should be able to take the Design from digital platforms to the execution stage
/n
Understanding of various formats, keeping function over form
/n
Ability to deliver under pressure with quick turnaround time
/n
Detail-oriented and valuing sincere perseverance.
