The English Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) is responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in English language and literature to students at the [specify grade levels, e.g., middle or high school] level. The TGT will develop engaging lesson plans, assess student progress, and create a positive learning setting that fosters students' critical thinking and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Instructional Planning:
Develop and implement effective lesson plans that align with the curriculum and state standards.
Utilize a variety of instructional strategies to address different learning styles and needs.
Integrate technology and multimedia resources into the classroom to enhance student engagement.
Assessment and Curriculum Development:
Assess and evaluate student performance through tests, projects, and other assignments.
Provide timely feedback to students and adjust instructional strategies based on assessment outcomes.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop and enhance the English curriculum and assessment practices.
