We are looking for a motivated Cyber Security Intern to support our security operations, incident response, and cloud security tasks. This role is ideal for students or recent graduates eager to gain hands-on experience with up-to-date cybersecurity tools and frameworks.
Responsibilities
Monitor and triage basic security alerts in Microsoft Sentinel and Defender.
Assist in incident investigation and prepare documentation.
Support threat‑hunting activities using predefined queries and playbooks.
Help with vulnerability scanning (e.g., Nessus) and reporting.
Contribute to security policy documentation and audit activities.
Assist with cloud security tasks, especially in Azure.
Create straightforward automation workflows and basic KQL queries.
Preferred Skills
Basic understanding of cybersecurity concepts (SOC, incident response, vulnerabilities).
Familiarity with Microsoft Security tools (Sentinel, Defender, Entra) is an advantage.
Basic networking knowledge (firewalls, protocols, Zero Trust).
Awareness of MITRE ATT&CK; and CVE/CVSS scoring.
Good communication, documentation, and analytical skills.
Solid willingness to learn.
Eligibility
Pursuing or completed degree in Computer Science, IT, or Cybersecurity.
Certifications like AZ‑900, SC‑900, or Security+ are a plus, not required.
