Key Responsibilities
Cost Analysis & Control: Analyze manufacturing costs, including direct materials, labor, and overhead, to identify areas for cost reduction.
Standard Costing & Variance: Develop and update standard costs for products; analyze variances between actual and budgeted production costs.
Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels, perform valuation of finished goods, and manage physical inventory or cycle counts.
Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual cost reports, including cost of goods manufactured (COGM) and cost of goods sold (COGS).
Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in preparing annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
System Maintenance: Ensure accuracy of cost accounting systems in ERP software (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
Required Skills and Qualifications
Education:
I ICMA
Experience: 3+ years of cost accounting experience, ideally in a manufacturing setting.
Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP/SAP software.
Analytical Skills: Robust ability to analyze data, identify trends, and formulate recommendations.
Experience in manufacturing sectors.
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
