POSITION SUMMARY

BOT VFX, a post-production services company with global clients, is looking for an Associate Producer. The position is a Chennai, India-based role.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide critical support to the client-facing producers (EPs, Sr. Producers, and Producers) by managing bidding, awards, and change orders, and by maintaining clean data in the production and billing systems to ensure accurate financial tracking.
Deliver financial status reports as required by client-facing producers on a consistent basis per project
Work closely with VFX, DFX and CG supervisors and production teams to support all incoming bid packages and project estimates, and liaise with the client-facing producers.
Ensure new bid packages and shows are added to bidding lists and actively tracked, coordinating with Production Managers to facilitate timely bid estimation.
Work along with the client-facing producers and production teams to build and manage schedules and capacity usage forecasts




Accurately track cost-to-date and kill fees issued to clients to ensure appropriate and timely billing
Support production teams with scheduling briefing sessions, turnover calls, and other production meetings to align with client goals and expectations
Act as a liaison across departments to ensure smooth production workflows and proactively address challenges, flagging conflicts to VFX Producers
Serve as backup support to Digital Producers, Line Producers, and Revenue Generation teams for client communications, bidding activities, and shot production

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Proven experience in digital production, VFX production, or a related field.
Strong understanding of VFX production workflows and production scheduling
Experience working in quick-paced, high-pressure production environment
Extremely organized and disciplined with a strong eye for details
Effective communicator, who can be succinct but transparent; robust at verbal and written communication
