What you’ll do:
"The primary responsibility of this role is to create, maintain and govern PCB libraries to ensure design accuracy, quality, and consistency across projects.
Provide reliable, standardized, and manufacturing‑ready PCB components (symbols, footprints, and associated data) in accordance with IPC stadards that designers can use confidently without re‑verification."
"- Follow IPC standards (e.g., IPC‑7351) and internal design guidelines with guidance.- Adhere to defined library creation checklists, QC processes, and approval workflows.
Basic understanding of electronic component packages (SMT, THT).
Read and interpret component datasheets for dimensions, pinouts, and footprints.
Create PCB library elements (symbols/footprints) as per given requirements.Ensure strict compliance with IPC standards (e.g., IPC‑7351, IPC Class 3) and internal design guidelines.
Adhere to defined library creation checklists, QC processes, and approval workflows with no process deviations.
Possess robust understanding of electronic component assembly processes and guidelines (SMT, THT, special packages).
Demonstrate solid technical knowledge of component datasheets, including package dimensions, pinouts, land patterns, and assembly constraints.
Accurately interpret and translate assembly and footprint requirements into compliant PCB library elements.
Perform thorough quality checks and validation before library release.
Act as a gatekeeper, ensuring only validated, compliant parts enter design workflows.
Prevent introduction of defective, non‑compliant, or incorrect components into PCB designs.
Ensure data accuracy and completeness for components, including:Package and land pattern,Pin mapping and orientation,Lifecycle status and alternates
Maintain traceability and controlled updates within library databases.
Demonstrate robust hands‑on experience with Altium Designer (library creation, database libraries).
Have working experience with database
