A Hair Trainer at Lakmé Academy is responsible for both teaching students and maintaining professional salon standards. The role blends technical expertise, mentoring, and operational support. Here’s a clear breakdown:
Training & Teaching
Deliver structured hair courses (basic to advanced)
Teach hair cutting, coloring, styling, chemical treatments (rebonding, smoothening, keratin, etc.)
Demonstrate practical techniques on models/mannequins
Guide students during hands-on practice
Prepare lesson plans and training schedules
Student Development
Assess student performance (theory + practical)
Provide feedback and improve skills
Mentor students for confidence and professionalism
Prepare students for exams, certifications, and placements
Curriculum & Standards
Follow Lakmé Academy curriculum and training guidelines
Keep updated with latest hair trends, techniques, and products
Maintain hygiene, safety, and skilled standards in training
Inventory & Tools Management
Manage hair products,



tools, and equipment
Ensure proper usage and maintenance of kits
Administrative Work
Maintain attendance and student records
Conduct tests, assignments, and evaluations
Support in admissions counseling (sometimes)
Events & Promotions
Participate in workshops, seminars, demos, and shows
Represent the academy in promotional activities
