Key Responsibilities of Accountant for Jewellery Manufacturing Company-
Inventory Management and Valuation: Keeping exact records of Stock (gold, silver, stones) and other inputs, and regularly updating inventory values based on fluctuating market rates.
Cost Accounting: Allocating costs for materials, labor, overheads, and wastage to ensure accurate product pricing and profitability analysis.
GST Compliance: Ensuring compliance with GST/VAT, import/export duties, and other taxes.
Financial Reporting: Providing clear financial reports like profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
Tax Planning: Helping reduce tax bills legally by making the best use of deductions and tax-saving investments.
Export-Import Documentation.
Internal-External Auditing.
