We are looking for a hands-on Production Supervisor to manage day-to-day operations on the chemical/pharma manufacturing floor, ensuring safety, quality, and output targets are consistently met. The role requires solid technical knowledge of batch manufacturing processes and the ability to lead shop-floor teams efficiently.
Qualification
B.Sc / M.Sc (Chemistry / Biochemistry) or B.Pharma
Experience
Minimum 2 years in Chemical or Pharma manufacturing

Roles & Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate daily production activities on the shop floor to meet output schedules
Monitor batch manufacturing processes in compliance with SOPs, GMP, and safety regulations
Lead and guide operators and technicians; assign tasks and monitor performance
Maintain proper documentation: batch records, logbooks, and production reports
Coordinate with QC, maintenance, and stores for smooth operations
Identify process deviations and implement corrective actions
Ensure adherence to EHS standards and conduct safety briefings
Support initiatives for yield improvement, waste reduction, and cost optimization
Required Skills & Tools
Solid understanding of chemical/pharma manufacturing processes
Knowledge of GMP, cGMP, and EHS standards
Familiarity with equipment: reactors, centrifuges, dryers, distillation units
Ability to read PFDs and P&IDs;
Proficiency in production documentation and MIS reporting
Working knowledge of ERP/MES systems is an advantage
Preferred Qualifications
B.Sc / M.Sc in Chemistry / Industrial Chemistry / Biochemistry
Experience in API or specialty chemical manufacturing
Exposure to ISO 9001 / ISO 14001 / OHSAS 18001 settings
Ability to manage 10+ operators in shift operations
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
