Role Overview

This role combines operational leadership with credit oversight and will play a critical role in establishing our lending systems, policies, and scalable processes.

Key Responsibility Areas (KRAs)1. Strategic Leadership & NBFC Setup
Lead end‑to‑end operational setup of the newly incorporated NBFC in alignment with regulatory expectations.
Assist management in formulating the company’s lending strategy, annual operational plan, and business roadmap.
Establish SOPs, internal controls, and governance standards for all operational activities.
Coordinate with auditors, consultants, compliance teams, and technology partners for smooth NBFC operations.
Credit Policy & Underwriting Management
Develop and implement credit policies, frameworks, and risk matrices for digital lending products.
Own and monitor the end‑to‑end underwriting process, ensuring high‑quality credit decisions.
Analyse borrower profiles using bureau data, financials, digital footprints, bank statements, and alt‑data sources.




Manage and optimize portfolio quality through continuous monitoring of risk indicators (DPD, bounce rate, NPA, etc.).
Collaborate with data science and product teams to define rules for automated underwriting.
Business Rule Engine (BRE) System Formation
Lead the requirements gathering, design, and development of the BRE for digital loan products.
Translate credit policies into system‑driven rules, scorecards, and automated decision workflows.
Ensure seamless integration of BRE with LOS, LMS, KYC, and external data APIs.
Conduct regular testing, calibration, and refinement of the BRE to improve decision accuracy and turnaround time.
Digital Lending Operations
Establish and manage end‑to‑end digital lending operations, including onboarding, KYC, disbursement, collections, and customer servicing.
Ensure operational efficiency through automation, workflow standardization, and system optimization.
Coordinate with FinTech partners
