About the Role

Key Responsibilities
Lead complete foundry production operations for DI manhole covers.
Ensure production targets, quality standards, and delivery schedules are achieved.
Manage production teams, shift in-charges, and supervisors.
Monitor casting, molding, pouring, and sand preparation processes.
Reduce rejection rates and improve production efficiency.
Analyze and resolve casting defects and process-related issues.
Coordinate with quality, maintenance, pattern, melting, and dispatch teams.
Maintain production records, MIS reports, and daily performance metrics.
Ensure safety, discipline, and process compliance across the shop floor.

Required Experience
Minimum 8 years of experience in foundry operations.
Must have hands-on experience in Ductile Iron (DI) Manhole Cover Manufacturing.




Solid knowledge of:
Ductile Iron Casting
Green Sand & No-Bake Sand Systems
Molding Processes
Yield Improvement
Casting Defect Analysis
Production Planning & Process Control
Experience handling labour-intensive manufacturing settings and production teams.

Preferred Qualifications
Diploma or B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or Metallurgy.
Practical foundry experience will be given preference over academic qualifications.
