Job Purpose: To receive, maintain and issue raw materials on time as per company standards.
Job Responsibilities:
MATERIAL RECEIPTS
Receive all materials as per P.O.s. issued by the Purchase department.
Ensure that the materials are as per the standards specified & duly tested in the Lab.
MATERIAL ISSUES
Ensure all materials are issued as per proper Indents.
Keep track of returnable gate pass register for materials sent out for repair, maintenance etc.
SYSTEMS
Ensure all relevant entries are passed in the system on time with no errors.
Ensure Minimum stock of critical items.
Ensure that all items that have reached re-order levels are ordered.
INNOVATION
To identify one area of Improvement and Implement the same.
SELF & SUBORDINATE DEVELOPMENT
To give on-the - job training to subordinates
To identify training programs for self.
