nAbout the Role
nWe are looking for a highly skilled Senior Backend Developer to join our engineering team and contribute to the development of a large-scale, cloud-native Dynamic Service Options (DSO) Platform. The role involves building reactive microservices, event-driven workflows, and scalable APIs using up-to-date Java, Spring Boot WebFlux, PostgreSQL, and AWS technologies.
nYou will work on mission-critical systems responsible for high-volume data ingestion, dataset generation, entitlement management, and API delivery while ensuring performance, reliability, security, and observability across distributed cloud applications.
nKey Responsibilities
nBackend Development

Design, develop, and maintain high-performance reactive REST APIs using Java 17+,Reactive Spring (WebFlux), and Spring Boot,n
Build fully asynchronous workflows using Project Reactor (Mono/Flux).n




Develop scalable microservices following cloud-native architecture principles.n
Implement secure APIs with OAuth2 Resource Server and role-based access controls.n

nEvent-Driven Systems

Develop event-driven solutions using AWS Lambda, SQS FIFO, and EventBridge.n
Design resilient message-processing workflows with retries, dead-letter queues, and idempotent processing.n
Build background processing jobs with concurrency controls and observability.n

nDatabase & Data Engineering

Design and optimize PostgreSQL schemas and queries.n
Work with Spring Data R2DBC and jOOQ for reactive and type-protected database interactions.n
Implement database versioning and migrations using Flyway.n
Utilize PostgreSQL features including JSONB, partitioning, indexing, and hierarchical data structures.n
