Job Description

Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, review, and deliver high-quality software solutions while adhering to coding standards, documentation practices, and configuration management processes.
Provide technical leadership and hands-on contribution throughout the software development lifecycle.
Design scalable, maintainable, and high-performing software solutions within a monolithic architecture.
Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and Engineering teams to estimate effort and deliver high-quality features.
Lead system design discussions and ensure adherence to engineering best practices and design patterns.
Optimize application performance by identifying bottlenecks related to database access, application design, and system architecture.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues in collaboration with Service Delivery and Production Support teams.




Drive continuous improvements in software quality, engineering processes, and development standards

The Successful Applicant

We're looking for someone who has:
B.E./B.Tech/MCA or equivalent.
8+ years of hands-on experience in Java application development.
Experience in Financial Services, Wealth Management, Banking, or Insurance is preferred.
Proven experience in designing enterprise-scale software solutions and mentoring development teams.
Solid hands-on expertise in Core Java and enterprise Java application development.
Strong experience working in monolithic enterprise applications
Excellent understanding of System Design, object-oriented design principles, and software architecture.
Solid knowledge of Design Patterns and their practical implementation.
Robust expertise in Oracle and/or MySQL, including database fundamentals.
Hands-on experience in writing and optimizing complex SQL queries.
