Lead Python Developer
Must Have
6+ years of relevant Python development experience in production settings.
Advanced proficiency in Python and Python-based backend development.
Robust experience with Django, Flask, and/or FastAPI.
Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and system design for complex/distributed applications.
Hands-on experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases, including data modeling, schema design, and performance optimization.
Strong experience designing and integrating REST and GraphQL APIs, including authentication, authorization, and API versioning.
Strong proficiency with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Docker.
Strong understanding of unit testing, integration testing, test automation, and code quality standards.
Proven experience in a technical leadership role such as Tech Lead, Team Lead, or equivalent.
Experience mentoring engineers, conducting code reviews, and providing technical direction.
Experience making architectural and technical decisions for scalable, reliable, and maintainable systems.




Strong experience with performance optimization, scalability, technical debt, and production troubleshooting.
Solid stakeholder management skills, with experience working with product owners, architects, business representatives, and cross-functional teams.
Strong leadership, ownership, and decision-making skills, including the ability to drive initiatives and make technical trade-offs.
Experience with Agile/Scrum practices, including estimation, sprint planning, and delivery tracking.
Strong English communication skills (Upper-Intermediate or higher), both written and verbal.
Collaborative and inclusive approach with a focus on knowledge sharing, constructive feedback, and team development.

Nice to Have
Practical experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP for deploying and operating Python services. Emphasize on AWS.
Strong proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terra
