Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and high-performing State Head – Loan Against Property (LAP) to lead and expand our secured lending business across Hyderabad. The ideal candidate will have deep market knowledge, a proven track record in building and scaling LAP portfolios, and strong leadership capabilities. This role is responsible for driving business growth, developing distribution channels, managing sales teams, and ensuring high-quality portfolio performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Growth & Sales

- Drive the overall Loan Against Property (LAP) business for Hyderabad and achieve assigned business targets
- Develop and execute market expansion strategies to increase market share and profitability
- Build a strong pipeline through direct sourcing, DSAs, connectors, referral partners, and strategic alliances
- Identify recent business opportunities and strengthen the company's presence in the Hyderabad market

Team Leadership

- Lead, mentor, and manage the Hyderabad LAP sales team to consistently achieve business objectives
- Recruit, train, and develop high-performing sales professionals
- Monitor team performance through regular reviews, coaching, and performance management

Channel Development

- Build and strengthen relationships with DSAs, connectors, builders, property consultants, and other business partners
- Expand and manage a productive channel partner network to drive sustainable business growth

Portfolio & Credit Quality

- Ensure sourcing of high-quality business while maintaining portfolio health
- Coordinate closely with Credit, Legal, Technical, Operations, and Collections teams to ensure smooth loan processing and timely disbursement
- Monitor delinquency levels and implement corrective actions to maintain portfolio quality





Market Intelligence

- Track market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities
- Recommend current strategies and initiatives to strengthen the company's competitive position

Desired Candidate Profile:

- Minimum 7+ years of experience in the Banking, NBFC, or Financial Services industry, with at least 4+ years of hands-on experience in Loan Against Property (LAP)/Mortgage Loans
- Proven success in sourcing, scaling, and managing secured lending portfolios
- Prior experience in a leadership role for LAP or Mortgage Loans
- Strong understanding of the LAP market, customer segments, and competitive landscape
- Established network with DSAs, connectors, builders, property consultants, and key market influencers
- Strong knowledge of credit assessment, property evaluation, secured lending processes, and risk management
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams, achieve aggressive business targets, and build high-performing sales organizations
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, stakeholder management, and analytical skills

Educational Qualification:

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, Finance, or a related discipline
- MBA or Postgraduate qualification in Management/Finance is preferred
