Job Description:

- We are seeking a seasoned MS Dynamics 2012 Technical Architect/Lead to design, implement, and oversee technical solutions in Dynamics AX 2012. The ideal candidate will have in-depth expertise in Dynamics AX, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record of delivering end-to-end ERP implementations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Lead the technical architecture, design, and development of solutions in Dynamics AX 2012.
- Collaborate with functional consultants, project managers, and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical designs.
- Guide the development team in coding standards, best practices, and solution development.
- Perform system customizations, integrations, and enhancements using X++, .NET, and related technologies.
- Optimize performance of Dynamics AX applications by analyzing and resolving system bottlenecks.
- Design and implement data migration strategies and tools for AX 2012.
- Maintain documentation for technical specifications, designs, and system configurations.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and provide guidance to ensure timely resolution.
- Stay updated with industry trends, Dynamics 365 migrations, and recent features in ERP ecosystems.

CORE DYNAMICS AX EXPERTISE

- Expertise in MS Dynamics AX 2012 architecture, implementation, and customization.
- Strong knowledge of X++ programming, MorphX IDE, and AOT (Application Object Tree).




- Experience in creating forms, reports, queries, and data entities in AX.

INTEGRATION & DATA MIGRATION

- Hands-on experience with AIF (Application Integration Framework) and integrations using web services.
- Proficiency in designing and implementing SSRS Reports and data migration tools.
- Knowledge of integrations with third-party tools and services (e.g., CRM, SharePoint, BI tools).

TECHNICAL DESIGN

- Strong understanding of Dynamics AX data model, frameworks, and workflows.
- Capability to create high-level and low-level designs.
- Performance tuning and optimization techniques in Dynamics AX.

DATABASE AND REPORTING

- Proficiency in SQL Server, T-SQL, and database optimization for AX solutions.
- Experience with SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services) for Dynamics AX reporting.

VERSION CONTROL & DEVELOPMENT TOOLS

- Familiarity with Team Foundation Server (TFS) or Azure DevOps for version control and collaboration.
- Knowledge of Lifecycle Services (LCS) for environment management.

UPGRADES AND MIGRATIONS

- Experience in upgrading Dynamics AX versions or migrating to Dynamics 365 F&O.;

QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Relevant certifications in MS Dynamics AX or Dynamics 365 (preferred).
- Proven experience in at least 2 full-cycle AX 2012 implementations.
