Job Summary We are seeking a ServiceNow ITAM Developer with deep expertise in Software Asset Management Pro (SAM Pro). The ideal candidate will focus on advanced scripting, workflow automation, third-party discovery integrations, and optimizing backend reconciliation engines.
Key Responsibilities
- Write and maintain complex Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, and UI Actions within the SAM application.
- Design and implement automated software request and reclamation workflows using Flow Designer and IntegrationHub.
- Create Service Catalog items for software requests with complex client-side validations.
- Configure and troubleshoot ServiceNow Discovery, SCCM, JAMF,
and third-party inventory integrations.
- Build REST/SOAP integrations to connect ServiceNow with external publisher portals and procurement systems.
- Optimize background jobs, reconciliation engines, and scheduled scripts; support platform upgrades.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow development with a focus on ITAM/SAM.
- High proficiency in JavaScript and the ServiceNow API framework.
- Deep technical understanding of SAM Pro data models, Software Installation tables, Discovery Models, and Software Models.
- Solid experience with SQL, XML, JSON, and IntegrationHub steps.
- Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification.
