Key Responsibilities :1. Recommendation SystemsDesign and optimize personalized recommendation engines (team-oriented filtering, content-based, hybrid models)Build real-time and batch recommendation pipelines for playlists, songs, and content discoveryImprove CTR, session time, and content consumption through personalization2. Search & RankingDevelop and enhance search relevance and ranking algorithmsWork on query understanding, typo correction, intent detection, and semantic search etcOptimize search-to-play conversion and reduce zero-result scenarios3. Predictive ModellingBuild models for Churn prediction, User lifetime value (LTV), Conversion propensity, Cohort ManagementDrive proactive interventions using predictions4. Experimentation & OptimizationDesign and run A/B tests and multivariate experimentsMeasure impact using key metricsTranslate data insights into product and growth strategies5.



Data & ML InfrastructureWork with large-scale datasets to build scalable ML pipelinesCollaborate with engineering teams to productionize modelsMonitor model performance and continuously iterateRequired Qualifications7+ years of work experience with Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or a related fieldHands-on experience with Recommendation systems, Search ranking (Elasticsearch, vector search, embeddings)Predictive modeling techniquesSolid understanding of Machine Learning algorithms, Statistics & probability, Feature engineering & model evaluationStrong proficiency in Python & SQLExperience with data visualization toolsExperience with SQL and large-scale data systems (BigQuery, Spark, etc.)Familiarity with real-time data processingExposure to MLOps and deployment pipelinesKey CompetenciesStrong problem-solving and analytical thinkingAbility to communicate complex findings to non-technical stakeholdersHigh attention to detail and data accuracyCollaborative mindset and ability to work in cross-functional teams
