About the RoleWe're looking for a Senior Testing Engineer to lead quality assurance efforts across our software products. You'll design test strategies, build automation frameworks, and work closely with development teams to ensure we ship reliable, high-quality software. This role is ideal for someone who combines strong technical testing skills with the ability to mentor others and influence engineering practices.

Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and test suites (UI, API, integration, and regression)Define test strategies and test plans for new features and major releasesPerform manual exploratory testing for complex or high-risk areasIdentify, document, and track defects; work with developers to reproduce and resolve issuesSet up and maintain CI/CD test pipelines in collaboration with DevOpsConduct performance, load,



and security testing as neededReview requirements and design documents to identify testability gaps earlyMentor junior QA engineers and promote testing best practices across teamsAnalyze test metrics and coverage to continuously improve quality processesCollaborate with product managers and developers throughout the SDLC.

Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)5+ years of experience in software testing/QA, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead capacityStrong experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Appium)Proficiency in at least one programming/scripting language (Java, Python, JavaScript, or similar)Experience with API testing tools (Postman, REST Assured, etc.)Solid understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, and Agile/Scrum practicesExperience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, etc.)Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools (Jira, TestRail, Zephyr)Robust analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail

Preferred QualificationsExperience with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner, k6)Exposure to containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes)Knowledge of database querying (SQL) for backend validationExperience testing mobile applicationsISTQB or equivalent certificationPrior experience mentoring or leading a QA team
