Commercial Management Office Contract Management, Global Managed Services

Managed Services is a critical component of the EY growth strategy with plans to grow to + billion over the next few years. To achieve our growth aspirations, we are enhancing our existing operating model for Managed Services pursuits and engagements.

We are looking for a Commercial Management Office Senior, to join our Managed Services team. As a CMO team member, you will play an integral role in Supporting, implementing and producing best-in-class financial reporting, controls and Commercial processes on our largest, most complex Managed Services engagements. CMO team member working closely with the Engagement teams and Client, Contract Managers, Commercial Directors, QRM practitioners and Area Commercial Architects confirming that both parties are delivering to contractual terms and commitments, minimizing and monitoring risk and developing effective commercial relationships.

The opportunity

As a CMO team member, you will ensure consistent management of contracts and proposals including an oversight of the contractual processes during Managed Services engagements. You will work closely with other significant global stakeholders and global delivery and enablement teams.

Your key responsibilities Contract Management (CM)

In this role, you will assist with the following day-to-day activities





- Provide Contract Management functionality on key EY contracts and accounts.
- Support the transfer of commercial and contract knowledge to the EY delivery teams to ensure ongoing management of the commercial and contractual aspects of contracts.
- Collaborate and build relationships with legal, Delivery and commercial Teams to clarify, interpret and align on actions to recommended to business leaders to comply with contractual obligations.
- Manage and oversee the contract change management process to ensure all modifications to the original contract are properly identified, categorized, documented, approved, tracked, and archived.
- Maintain a formal and auditable record of changes related to scope, financials, resources, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring alignment between EY and the customer. Monitor change requests through their full lifecycle, from initiation to closure, and provide stakeholders with accurate, real-time visibility into the current contractual scope and associated commercial impacts throughout the engagement.
- Situationally develop and use EY contract management processes and tools suitable for different service deliveries.
- Apply experience and appropriate delegation of authority guidelines to ensure that EY does not deviate from its approved contractual positions without appropriate governance.
- Identify the risk associated with the non-Compliance of contractual obligations.
- Provide Management of Contract requirements,



Deliverables and Key Methodologies such as Performance Measures, productivity achievement and invoicing.

- Capture knowledge into EY artefacts that can be used to support strategic pursuits.

Skills and attributes for success
- A high level of drive, ability to work independently and deal effectively with ambiguity and change, Business and commercial acumen,
- Commercial and contracting expertise in managed services and other complex and sensitive pursuits
- Fluency and experience in all commercial constructs, pricing methodologies and relevant commercial contracting terms and conditions
- Experience in supporting the negotiation of significant contract and or commercial arrangements
- Attention to detail, and able to produce work of consistently high-quality under pressure
- Ability/credibility to influence key EY and client stakeholders on robust commercial strategies & outcomes that is reflected in your personal style, experience and approach
- Experience gained on best practice managed services and other commercial arrangements and ability to translate these for EY pursuits
- Strong written and verbal communication skills appropriate to client operational level and EY senior stakeholders
- Flexibility in working with Clients and various EY stakeholders across the world and in different time zones.

To qualify for the role, you must have
- Typically, the candidates will have a Bachelor's Degree Or Master degree in Law, and/or a Post Graduate Business or Contract Law qualification.
- 5+ years of post-qualification experience.
- Proven contract Management skills
- Contract management or similar experience gained in a top tier skilled services firm.

Ideally, youll also have
- Experience with Managed Services in top tier professional services firm
