Role: Software Engineer / Junior Java Developer

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain applications using Java, Spring Boot and REST APIs.
- Write clean, reusable and maintainable code following coding standards.
- Work with SQL databases and implement basic database operations.
- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Perform unit testing, debugging and defect resolution.
- Participate in code reviews and follow Git/CI-CD development practices.
- Work with senior developers/architects on application enhancements and modernization initiatives.
- Use AI-assisted development tools responsibly to improve coding, testing and documentation productivity.
- Collaborate with QA, BA,



UI and DevOps teams in an Agile workplace.

Required Skills

- Good knowledge of Core Java, OOP, Collections and Exception Handling.
- Working knowledge of Spring Boot, REST APIs and SQL.
- Basic understanding of JPA/Hibernate and Microservices.
- Familiarity with Git, Maven/Gradle and JUnit.
- Good analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
- Willingness to learn cloud, DevOps, modern application architecture and AI-assisted engineering.

Good to Have: Angular/React basics, Docker, Azure/AWS and exposure to GenAI coding tools
