Company Secretary - General Insurance - Mumbai

We are hiring for a Company Secretary - KMP role with a new-generation general insurance organisation, offering an opportunity to lead corporate governance, Board management and statutory and regulatory compliances with a strong focus on IRDAI requirements.

Location - Mumbai

Responsibilities -

1. Manage end-to-end Board and Board Committee processes, including agendas, minutes and action tracking.
2. Ensure compliance with the Companies Act, SEBI/other applicable regulations and IRDAI requirements.
3. Manage statutory and regulatory filings and maintain required registers and records.
4. Advise the Board and senior management on corporate governance and regulatory matters.
5. Monitor regulatory changes and ensure timely implementation across the organisation.
6. Coordinate with IRDAI, auditors, legal advisors and other regulatory stakeholders.
7. Establish and strengthen secretarial, governance and compliance processes.

Requirements -

1. Qualified Company Secretary (CS).
2. General Insurance industry experience is mandatory.
3. Strong experience in IRDAI regulations and insurance-sector corporate governance.
4. Prior experience handling Board/Committee matters and senior management stakeholders.
5. Strong knowledge of the Companies Act and secretarial compliances.
6. Excellent communication, stakeholder management and regulatory interpretation skills.
7.



Ability to work in a build-and-scale environment and establish processes from the ground up.
