Roles and Responsibilities :

Sales, Inventory, Margin & Overall Profitability Analysis

- Analyze sales performance by category, design, collection, store, region
- Track gross profit margin, contribution margin, and profitability at product and store levels including EBITDA analysis
- Evaluate the impact of gold price movements, making charges, discounts, and schemes
- Monitor inventory metrics such as stock turns, ageing, dead stock, and replenishment effectiveness
- Identify fast movers, slow movers, and assortment gaps

Data, Reporting & Dashboards

- Design and maintain MIS reports, dashboards, and KPIs for management
- Ensure data consistency across ERP, POS, and BI systems
- Translate data into explicit, actionable insights and business recommendations

Expense & Cost Analysis

- Perform store-level and corporate-level expense analysis, including:
- Store operating costs (rent, manpower, utilities etc)
- Marketing & promotion (ATL & BTL expenses)
- Overheads and support-function expenses

- Analyze expense-to-sales ratios and cost efficiency trends by store, region, and format




- Support budget vs actual expense variance analysis and provide insights to management
- Identify cost optimization opportunities without impacting sales or customer experience
- Work with Finance and Operations teams to improve cost visibility and tracking

Analytical Tools & Technical Skills (Mandatory)

- Advanced Excel & PowerPoint skills (Pivot Tables, Power Query, advanced formulas)
- Strong hands-on experience with Power BI / Tableau / Qlik
- Working knowledge for data extraction and validation
- Experience working with ERP/POS systems
- Ability to handle large datasets and create structured analytical models

Business Partnering & Decision Support

- Collaborate with Retail Operations, Merchandising, Finance, Marketing, and Supply Chain teams
- Provide analytical support for store performance reviews, expansion evaluations, and strategy discussions
- Present insights in a structured, business-friendly manner to senior stakeholders
- Support ad-hoc analysis for management and leadership reviews
