Your Role

- Administer, maintain, and optimize mainframe databases with a focus on Datacom and VSAM.
- Ensure database availability, performance, and security.
- Design and implement database schemas, tables, indexes, and other objects.
- Perform database tuning, capacity planning, and disaster recovery planning.
- Monitor and manage database performance, including regular maintenance tasks.
- Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues.

Your Profile





- Minimum 6 to 14 years relevant experience.

- Develop and maintain database documentation, including data models, data flow diagrams, and database architecture.

- Implement and enforce database policies, procedures, and standards.
- Collaborate with application developers to optimize database interactions and support development efforts.
- Ensure data integrity and consistency across database systems.
- Conduct regular backups and recovery operations to safeguard data.
- Stay current with emerging database technologies and best practices.
