Job Description
Senior Technical Editor AI, Software Architecture and Enterprise Technology
Infosys Knowledge Institute (IKI) is the thought leadership and research arm of Infosys. It develops original, evidence-based perspectives that help business and technology leaders understand emerging trends, make informed decisions and translate technology developments into enterprise value.
Through the Infosys Technology Review and other IKI publications, we publish applied research, deep-technology perspectives, enterprise architecture papers, technology playbooks and executive strategy articles. About the role
We are looking for an accomplished Senior Technical Editor to strengthen the quality, credibility and executive relevance of its technology thought leadership.
This is a substantive editorial role that extends well beyond copyediting. The editor will critically assess whether a manuscript presents an original and defensible point of view; whether its technical claims, architecture and supporting evidence are sound; and whether the argument is relevant and accessible to senior enterprise decision-makers.
The editor will work across topics such as artificial intelligence, generative and agentic AI, software and enterprise architecture, cloud, data engineering, cybersecurity, digital platforms, engineering practices and emerging technologies. Publications may include:
- Research and applied innovation papers
- Frontier technology and architecture perspectives
- Tech Navigator reports and implementation playbooks
- Executive technology strategy articles
- Multi-article series and thematic research programs
Working closely with authors, subject-matter experts, IKI producers, researchers, designers and publishing teams, the editor will serve as a critical editorial quality gate from manuscript development through final publication.

- Identify unsupported assertions, reasoning gaps, contradictions, excessive generalization and conclusions that extend beyond the available evidence.
- Challenge manuscripts that merely describe a technology and help authors develop a stronger perspective on what it means for enterprises.
- Ensure that introductions establish the problem and purpose clearly,
sections advance the argument, and conclusions translate the analysis into meaningful implications or actions.
- Preserve the authors expertise and voice while raising the manuscript to IKIs publication standards.

- Ensure that distinctions between concepts, technologies, system layers and operating models are precise and consistently maintained.
- Review descriptions of AI models, agents, data pipelines, software systems, security controls, evaluation methods and enterprise architectures for conceptual accuracy.
