Key Responsibilities

- Own and govern the end-to-end Configuration Management process.
- Define and maintain Configuration Management policies, standards, procedures, and controls.
- Govern the CMDB structure, CI lifecycle, relationships, attributes, and data quality.
- Ensure CIs are identified, classified, maintained, and reconciled throughout their lifecycle.
- Monitor CMDB health and address data quality issues related to completeness, correctness, compliance, and duplicates.
- Establish and maintain CI ownership, data ownership, and governance responsibilities.
- Coordinate with Discovery, Asset Management, Application, Infrastructure, and Service Management teams.
- Ensure accurate CI relationships and dependencies to support Incident,



Problem, Change, and Service Management.
- Govern CI audits, reconciliation, certification, and periodic data validation.
- Identify and resolve duplicate, orphaned, stale, or incorrectly classified CIs.
- Support integrations and automated discovery to improve CMDB accuracy and reduce manual updates.
- Prepare CMDB and Configuration Management reports, dashboards, and governance updates.
- Support audit and compliance requirements and drive continual improvement of CMDB maturity.
