Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Store Manager / Head – Stores to manage store, inventory, and material operations, including material receipt/issue, stock control, ERP operations, reconciliation, and coordination with Purchase, Accounts, Project, and Site Teams.

The candidate should have strong knowledge of construction materials, inventory management, ERP systems, and store control procedures.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage overall store and inventory operations at the Head Office and coordinate with project/site stores.
- Supervise the receipt, inspection, storage, issuance, return, and dispatch of construction materials, tools, equipment, and consumables.
- Maintain accurate records of all material inward and outward movements, stock registers, and inventory documentation.
- Verify materials received against Purchase Orders (PO), Delivery Challans, and approved specifications.
- Prepare and process GRN (Goods Receipt Note) and ensure timely updating of material receipts in the ERP system.
- Ensure proper documentation for Material Requisition, Material Issue, Material Receipt, Stock Transfer, and Material Return.
- Maintain accurate ERP-based inventory records and ensure all material transactions are updated on time.
- Monitor stock levels and ensure timely replenishment of materials as per project requirements.
- Coordinate with Purchase, Project, Accounts, Vendors, and Site Teams for timely availability and movement of materials.
- Ensure proper identification, stacking, storage,



and preservation of materials to prevent damage, shortage, and wastage.
- Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconcile physical stock with ERP/system records.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly stock reports and MIS through ERP/Excel.
- Coordinate material transfers between Head Office and project sites as required.
- Maintain proper records of tools, equipment, consumables, and company assets issued to employees and project sites.
- Monitor material consumption and coordinate with project teams to minimize material wastage, excess consumption, and pilferage.
- Coordinate with Accounts for GRN, invoice verification, material reconciliation, and supporting documents.
- Support internal and external stock audits and ensure timely resolution of stock discrepancies.
- Supervise store staff and ensure proper allocation of duties, discipline, productivity, and compliance with store procedures.
- Perform other store and inventory-related duties as assigned by management.

Required Skills & Competencies

- Strong knowledge of construction material and store management.
- Hands-on experience in inventory control, stock reconciliation, and material management.
- Good understanding of construction materials, tools, consumables, and equipment.
- Strong knowledge of GRN, Material Requisition, Material Issue, Material Receipt, Stock Transfer,



Purchase Orders, and Delivery Challans.
- Hands-on ERP knowledge in Stores, Inventory, Purchase, and Material Management modules.
- Experience in managing ERP-based material inward/outward, stock transfers, inventory reconciliation, and stock reports.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP software, and MIS reporting.
- Strong coordination skills with Purchase, Projects, Accounts, Vendors, and Site Teams.
- Good analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Experiences must be in Building construction in 5+yrs
- Expert knowledge of building products, construction details and relevant rules, regulations and quality standards.
- Ability to lead and manage store staff effectively.

Qualification & Experience

- Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Material Management, Supply Chain Management or any related field is preferred.
- Master’s Degree in Supply Chain Management will be an added advantage.
- 8–12 years of relevant experience in Store / Inventory / Material Management.
- Candidates with experience in Construction / Real Estate / Infrastructure projects will be preferred.
- Experience in handling project/site stores and multiple locations will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge in ERP.

Preferred Candidate

- Solid experience in construction material and inventory management.
- Experience with ERP-based Store/Inventory Management.
- Candidates willing to travel to project sites as required.
- Strong understanding of material control, stock reconciliation, and documentation.
- Immediate or short notice period candidates preferred.
