Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with general physicians, specialists, optometrists, clinics, nursing homes, and other healthcare professionals to generate patient referrals.
- Regularly visit doctors and healthcare establishments within the assigned territory to promote the hospitals ophthalmology services, specialists, facilities, and treatment options.
- Identify and onboard new referring doctors while strengthening relationships with existing referral partners.
- Generate and achieve patient referral targets through systematic doctor engagement and territory management.
- Communicate information about the hospital's key specialties such as cataract, retina, glaucoma, cornea, LASIK/refractive services, pediatric ophthalmology, and other eye-care services.
- Coordinate with hospital doctors and internal teams to ensure a smooth referral-to-consultation experience for referred patients.
- Track referrals received from individual doctors and maintain accurate records of doctor-wise referral volumes, conversions, and revenue contribution.




- Follow up with referred patients and coordinate with the concerned hospital team wherever required to improve referral conversion and patient experience.
- Conduct regular doctor meets, CME programs, awareness programs, and professional engagement activities in coordination with the hospital team.
- Collect market intelligence regarding competitor hospitals, doctors, pricing, services, and referral trends and share insights with the reporting manager.
- Identify new business opportunities and potential referral sources within the assigned territory.
- Ensure timely submission of daily visit reports, doctor call reports, referral reports, and other MIS.
- Work closely with the Operations, Clinical, Marketing, and Patient Relations teams to improve referral engagement and service delivery.
- Handle doctor and referral-partner queries professionally and ensure timely resolution through appropriate internal coordination.
- Maintain high standards of professional ethics, confidentiality, and compliance while engaging with medical professionals and patients.
- Represent Dr. Agarwal’s Eye Hospital professionally and build a robust brand image among the medical fraternity.
