Required Knowledge & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or
equivalent practical experience.
Strong software engineering fundamentals with experience building reliable, scalable,
and maintainable production systems.
2+ years of experience designing, developing, and operating backend or full-stack
applications at scale.
Robust proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as Java, Python,
Go, C++, or C#.
Solid experience with relational and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL,
MongoDB, Redis, or DynamoDB.
Experience with CI/CD, observability, containers, and DevOps practices.
Strong understanding of software design principles, coding standards, testing,
performance, security, and production reliability.
Ability to understand ambiguous requirements, evaluate technical trade-offs, and
independently drive solutions from design through production.

AI & LLM Experience
Experience building products or engineering workflows using LLMs and Generative AI
is highly desirable.
Familiarity with LLM APIs, prompt engineering, structured outputs,
Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot,
Cursor, or similar is a plus.

Responsibilities
Design, build, and operate scalable, highly available, and resilient backend services
and APIs.
Own features and systems end-to-end—from technical design and implementation to
deployment, monitoring, and production support.




Work closely with Product and Business teams to understand customer problems,
translate them into technical solutions, and contribute to product and engineering
roadmaps.
Build and integrate AI/LLM-powered capabilities where they provide meaningful
improvements to product experience, automation, or engineering productivity.
Make pragmatic architectural decisions by evaluating performance, scalability,
reliability, security, development effort, and cost.
Improve engineering velocity through automation, AI-assisted development, CI/CD,
testing, and developer tooling.
Establish and promote engineering best practices across design, development, testing,
observability, and production operations.
Diagnose complex production issues and continuously improve system reliability,
performance, and scalability.
Contribute to a strong engineering culture focused on ownership, customer impact,
simplicity, and continuous improvement.
Mentor engineers and contribute to technical direction as the team and platform scale.
