Key Responsibilities

- Develop, edit, and optimize CNC programs using Siemens SINUMERIK controllers (840D/828D or equivalent).
- Design, configure, and troubleshoot Siemens PLC programs for CNC machine tools and automated equipment.
- Work with TIA Portal for PLC programming, HMI configuration, and system diagnostics.
- Configure and validate machine safety systems in compliance with relevant safety standards (e.g., ISO 13849, IEC 62061).
- Set up and modify safety-related PLC functions (F-CPU/Fail-Safe programming) using TIA Portal Safety.
- Perform machine setup, tool offsets, and first-article inspection for new programs.
- Troubleshoot machine faults related to CNC control, PLC logic, drives, and safety circuits.
- Read and interpret mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and GDT specifications.
- Maintain accurate documentation of programs, PLC logic, safety configurations, and machine parameters.
- Required Skills
- 3-5 years of experience as a CNC Programmer or in a similar role.

Hands-on experience with:

- Siemens SINUMERIK CNC Controllers
- Siemens S7 PLC Programming
- TIA Portal (PLC/HMI Programming Diagnostics)




- Siemens Safety Integrated / F-CPU Safety Configuration
- Siemens SINUMERIK ONE Controller
- Simulation Tools - Create MyVirtual Machine, Run MyVirtual Machine
- Ability to read and interpret electrical/mechanical schematics and G-code/M-code.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for CNC, PLC, and safety-related faults.
- Ability to work in Simulation setting.
- Understanding of machine safety standards (ISO 13849, IEC 62061, or equivalent).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team-based environment.

Preferred Skills (Added Advantage)

- Experience with SINAMICS drives and Siemens motion control systems.
- Familiarity with fieldbus communication protocols (PROFINET, PROFIBUS).
- Exposure to robotics integration or automated production cells.
- Siemens certification(s) in TIA Portal, PLC, or Safety programming.
