Role Overview

- We are looking for an experienced SAS Visual Analytics Developer with 5-6 Years experience with solid hands-on expertise in developing interactive dashboards, analytical reports and business visualisations using SAS Visual Analytics and SAS Viya.
- The candidate should be capable of understanding business requirements and KPIs, preparing and transforming data, developing Visual Analytics reports independently, and working closely with business and analytics stakeholders.
- This is primarily a hands-on development role and not a SAS Administration or Infrastructure position.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop and maintain interactive dashboards and analytical reports using SAS Visual Analytics.
- Translate business requirements and KPIs into meaningful visualisations and reporting solutions.
- Develop calculated measures, filters, prompts, parameters, hierarchies, drill-downs and report interactions.
- Perform data preparation, transformation and validation for SAS VA reporting.
- Work with SAS Viya, CAS tables and SAS Studio for data processing and report development.
- Develop and maintain programs using Base SAS, PROC SQL / SAS SQL and SAS Macro.
- Integrate data from multiple sources and prepare datasets required for analytical reporting.
- Implement appropriate access controls and row-level security wherever required.




- Optimise dashboard performance, data loading and report response times.
- Troubleshoot data, reporting and performance-related issues.
- Work directly with business users, analysts and technical teams for requirement gathering, development, testing and deployment.
- 12.Prepare technical documentation, data mappings and report specifications.

Mandatory Skills

- 5 to 6 years of overall SAS development experience.
- Strong hands-on experience in SAS Visual Analytics.
- Hands-on experience with SAS Viya.
- Experience working with CAS / CAS tables.
- Strong knowledge of Base SAS.
- Robust PROC SQL / SAS SQL skills.
- Good experience with SAS Macro programming.
- Experience with SAS Studio.
- Strong understanding of data preparation, data transformation and data validation.
- Proven experience developing business dashboards, KPI reports and management-level visualisations.
- Good SQL and analytical problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with SAS Visual Analytics on SAS Viya 3.5 / Viya 4.
- Experience implementing report-level or row-level security.
- Experience in dashboard/report performance optimisation.
- Exposure to ETL, Data Warehousing or SAS Data Integration.
- Experience working with large enterprise datasets.
- Exposure to cloud environments such as Azure or other enterprise cloud platforms.
- Experience developing reports for senior management / CXO-level users.
